P I M P L E S

😭

I have a bad month, period is delayed to the last day of June and pimples all over my face all of a sudden. It was as bad as when I was pregnant.

I got no choice and decided to apply Melaleuca Alternifolia Essential Oil or more known as Tea Tree oil. The reason why I am reluctant to use it is due to its sharp astringent smell, but it is the #1 essential oil for pimples. Anyway, I apply it neat on the pimples. I bought it in the middle of July, and finally the pimples breakout is under control after 2 weeks using it.

My favourite way of diffusing essential oils at home

I believe everyone have their way to diffuse their favourite EO. I want to share with you my favourite way of diffusing EO at my home. Different EO and mist option I choose depends on the occasions or purposes as well as room size.

What are my favourite essential oil to diffuse?

For refreshing purpose:
Lemon Essential Oil (Singles)
Citrus Fresh Essential Oil (Singles)
Peppermint Essential Oil (Singles)

For sleep purpose:
Lavender Essential Oil(Singles)
RC Essential Oil (Blends)

For breathing purpose:
Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil (Singles)
RC Essential Oil (Blends)

Which Diffuser I use?

How many drop of essential oil I put?

6 drops of the essential oil (water level: max)

Which mode of Mist option I choose?

It depends on the room size. I choose5-hour mode (high) in the living room, 8-hour mode (medium) in master bedroom, and 10-hour mode (intermittent 1 min on/1 min off) in smaller bedroom.

Fun session: Melt and Pour Soap Making

It has always been on my wish list to go for soap making class since 1 or 2 years back. But I never enroll myself to any due to the reason that I have no time.

And then I do not know why with essential oils, I went on to google how to make soap, then I start to look around and ask around to see where to buy the ingredients. There, I discover there is this melt and pour soap which is as easy as making jelly.

Called up my sister-in-law and asked her if she is interested, she likes the idea. So, we went on to source for the ingredients. All we need to buy is melt and pour soap base because we already have the essential oil to replace the scented oil.

I bought a pot for this purpose as I foresee that I will have a few session to play with it.

The steps:
  1. Cut the soap base and melt it at the stove (melt easily)
  2. Remove from stove.
  3. Add 5-10 drops essential oils of your liking (about 100ml soap base)
  4. Mix well and pour into the mold
  5. Let mixture cool down (about an hour)
  6. Take it out from mold.

Happy mom with happy daughter!
